The Shreveport Police Department announced that detectives with the department’s Violent Crime Unit have apprehended a second suspect connected to the March 13, 2018, stabbing on the 6900 block of Buncombe Road.
The attack left two adult females hospitalized with multiple stab wounds throughout their bodies.
On March 14, 2018, detectives arrested 36-year-old Bryan Todd for his alleged involvement in the attack. Since his arrest police have been searching for his two accomplices.
On March 16, 2018, detectives determined that Damien Updite, 38, may have been one of those accomplices. He turned himself in and was arrested and charged with Attempted First Degree Murder. His bond has been set at $500,000.00. Updite is being held at the Shreveport City Jail
