Detectives from the Shreveport Police Property Crimes Unit are hoping to identify a man they accuse of shoplifting for the Old Navy Department Store on Youree Drive.

According to a press release from the department, on November 10, 2017, a man entered the Old Navy store and stole 60 pairs of denim jeans. The total value of the merchandise is estimated to be $2,399.00.

Detectives were able to locate the suspect on the store’s security camera system and pulled a still image of the suspect. The police have released a picture of the suspect in hopes that someone in the community will be able to identify him.

The suspect is described as a black male, middle-aged, wearing a black or dark gray hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to contact crime stoppers at 318-673-7373 or submit an anonymous tip online at www.lockemup.org. Crimestoppers have stated that a reward has been offered for any information leading to an arrest.
