The Shreveport Police Department was busy earlier this evening after a trio of thieves were arrested shortly after they broke into the Goodwill store on the 6000 block of Linwood Avenue.

According to a press release from the department, “On January 7, 2018, just after 6:30 pm, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a suspicious person call at Goodwill Industries in the 6000 block of Linwood Avenue. When they arrived, they made contact with 18-year-old Brianna Taylor, of the 100 block of West 78th Street, and 2 juveniles. Officers heard the business alarm sounding and discovered that the business had been entered and items stolen from inside.”

When detectives with the department’s Property Crimes Investigations Unit arrived they quickly gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses. Shortly thereafter they determined that Taylor and her pair of underaged accomplices were responsible for the break-in. Taylor was arrested on one count of Simple Burglary and two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles and is now being held at the Shreveport City Jail. The two juveniles are both charged with one count of Simple Burglary each. Due to their age, they are being held at the Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center.

According to Shreveport Police, all of the stolen items were accounted for and returned undamaged.
