19 year old Cameron Lee (Shreveport) was pronounced dead last night at University Health Hospital after being involved in an altercation that turned violent. According to the Shreveport Police Department, on the night of October 15, 2017, Shreveport Police officers were called to the UH emergency room after a patient arrived with a stab wound to the torso. The patient arrived in critical condition, and unfortunately died during the night as a result of his wounds.
After identifying the deceased as 19 year old Cameron Lee, police were able to find the scene on the crime, which was at Lee’s house in the 5600 block of Kent Avenue. Detectives from both the Violent Crimes Unit and the Crime Scene Unit were dispatched and arrived at the scene where they began their investigation. They discovered that Lee had a visitor arrive at his house just before the incident occurred.
The visitor was described by witnesses as wearing all black, and was seen running from Lee’s house. The witnesses then told investigators that they entered Lee’s house after seeing the visitor fleeing, and discovered Lee inside. The witnesses then transported Lee to University Health via a private vehicle.
