The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office announced that they will be offering an AARP Smart Driver course on Friday, April 27, 2018
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the class will be held at the Northwest Regional Re-Entry Facility located at 1123 Forum Drive in Shreveport, and will run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
“This 4-hour refresher course is for drivers 50 and over and may qualify participants for an automobile insurance premium discount,” Sheriff’s Office officials said via a Facebook post.
Space is limited and is on a “first come first serve” basis. The cost of the class for AARP members is $15, and $20 for non-members.
