After witnesses reported that a man was casing neighborhood cars, Shreveport Police arrested Dylan McKinney after he was identified as the man witnesses saw.

Investigators have jailed a man accused of a late September vehicle burglary.

On September 24, 2017, patrol officers responded to the 7600 block of Chesapeake Drive on reports of a vehicle burglary that had just occurred. Witnesses reported that a while male parked a tan Toyota 4-Runner in the block. Shortly after he parked, he exited the SUV and entered the driveway of a residence where he began pulling the door handles of cars in the driveway. The witness recorded the vehicle license plate number and relayed the information to the investigating officers.

Shreveport Police Property Crimes Investigators were assigned to the case and through the tag information and witness cooperation, developed Dylan McKinney into custody at his home without incident and booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of Simple Burglary.
